Project Summary – The Remarkable Women NFT collection by Rachel Winter is a celebration and ode to all women inspired by the perspectives of self-expression, fashion, feminism, and cultural inclusion. The collection showcases powerful messages of hope, inspiration, and affirmation in 15 languages (with featured phrases including “Loved, Royal, Icon, Valid, Queen”) that together make this collection truly remark-able.
Guided by a deep sense of purpose and meaning, Remarkable Women’s mission is to uplift and empower women by focusing on inclusion and representation. This commitment begins from launch, where 10% of drop proceeds will be dedicated towards our strategic partner, the Fund for Women’s Equality. Thereafter, 10% of all secondary sales will be put into the Remarkable Women’s Impact Fund with proceeds decided and voted upon by our community members towards causes dedicated to women, justice, equality, and inclusion globally.

What originally brought you into the NFT space?
I was brought into the NFT space by the amazing team at House of First when we created the collection Remarkable Women. It has been a whirlwind experience of learning and creating, two of my favorite things!

November 2021.

How did you come up with the idea for your NFT project?
It was a real collaboration, my art style focuses on social change and together we wanted to bring some activism and inclusivity into the NFT space. Metaverse/Web3 is forecast to be an $8 Trillion market within 5 years, yet women represent under 20% of current participants in this economy – we want to be part of changing that. We saw a need and opportunity for a project that pushes for more inclusive representation both IRL, and the world of NFT’s.

What makes your NFT project unique?
We have created a collection that artistically celebrates and empowers women, but more than that we have created a community that we are excited to support and build.
This project is particularly unique because it began with a foundation of more than 300 Global Ambassadors featuring accomplished women, men and allies. This has created an inspiring network of individuals passionate about not only Web 3 but creating impact within the space.
The inclusivity of our project is also unique as we have incorporated 15 different languages within our art including Hebrew, Chinese, Hindi, American Sign Language and more.

How big is the team and what are their roles?
House of First is a fully doxxed global team of 9 members and 3 advisors with a shared passion for uniting the worlds of technology, art, and community. We are a team of talented professionals – including front and back end developers, marketing, partnerships, and community leads – who are all working full-time here and dedicating our passion and commitment to the success of this project every day. All of us have been active collectors and creators in this space, with seasoned success in executing and delivering a big vision.

Are there any mechanics or utility we should know about?
We are going to provide a ton of utilities, opportunities and experiences to our NFT community. We are working with top fashion brands to provide a variety of benefits, exclusive fashion lines, and access to future collections. We also specialize in Event Planning (a benefit of our parent support company Landmark Ventures) and will provide incredible real world experiences, starting with our Remarkable Women NFT Event for National Women’s Day on March 8th at Fred Segal Arcade in Beverly Hills! Then on to SXSW for another members event, and a huge event in NYC (our home base!) for NFT.NYC this summer. – MrPinkNFT

Where do you see NFTs in the next 3-5 years?
Foundational tools. I see them everywhere and part of everyday life, like email. Concert and sport tickets, legal docs, deeds, in fact most documents used in business today are more secure and better suited as NFTs. This is in addition to the insane growth in digital assets in the metaverse. I can’t even imagine. – MrPinkNFT

What would you tell a newbie before beginning to invest in the NFT market? What should they look for?
A fully doxed and transparent team to start, not anonymous developers or project leads. Find a team with a proven history of success. I also suggest finding a strong first community to enter, like House of First or Royal Society of Players to name two. These communities provide a ton of onboarding support, and a foundation to build from. I also tell people to find art that moves them.. I own a lot of NFTs with not much utility other than the art itself, which is a beautiful part of my NFT experience. – MrPinkNFT
