What NFTs do you currently own? What is your favorite and why?
I have a wide variety of NFT’s i own, from collectibles to works by individual artists. Some of these in the collectibles category include :- Bored ape yacht club, Cool cats, Creatures, Robotos, cryptoads, Deadfellaz the list goes on, and in the 1/1 category
Some of the works i own by notable artists include Tylekki, Pulkit kudiwal, Kristel Bichara, Kaiwan etc.
My favorite NFT has to be my bored ape, i bought it back in may, where i sold one of my artworks on foundation, and immediately decided to put all my earning in the BAYC project, and the only reason i did that was because I saw something i had never seen before, everyone on twitter was changing their picture to an ape picture, these were people from different parts of the world who did not even know each other but somehow came together, and I sensed a huge community energy from it so i decided to ape in (pun intended). Today it gives me great pride knowing i have an NFT from a collection which has the biggest celebrities and brands under their belt around the world.

What do you think is the most important thing to look for before investing in NFT projects?
I think the Team behind the project is probably the most important thing to look for before investing, this place changes so fast, and with anonymity a huge aspect of web3 and crypto, there is an issue of accountability that we are navigating ourselves around, making sure the team is either doxed which is best case scenario, or at least have a track record in the NFT space, gives me big confidence, things move at lightning speed in this space, plus with the amount of hacks, and contract issues, i think its super imperative that the team has seen or been part of the NFT space for a few months.

What would you tell a newbie before beginning to invest in the NFT market? What should they look for?
I would always suggest to spend a lot of time in the NFT market before investing, understand trends, see why certain projects are doing well, what all factors contribute to it, follow the right educators and builders in the NFT twitter space, ask questions, sit in discords, what makes a project a success or a failure is a combination of a lot of factors, understanding all those will help one navigate through this place.
FOMO buying and investing is a huge thing in this space, which can quiet often result in people loosing their money, understanding all of this, and when are markets pumping organically and when they are because of a certain event or a tweet by a famous celebrity is super crucial to know, to invest in this space safely.

What do you foresee as the top challenges for NFTs moving forward?
I think Fraud and Safety would be some of the biggest challenges, the web3 movement has some changes that we as a society are not used to, decentralization also means having no one to report issues or scams to, which just opens a doorway for people who come hear to scam the masses, and considering there is so much chatter about people missing out on big profits, having new investors who come into this space and invest without doing much research would result is a lot of people taking disadvantage of people.

Where do you see NFTs in the next 3-5 years?
Right now NFTs are very much in the realm of art, and we haven’t even completely tapped into the creative market yet, because music is an industry that still in its infant stages in the NFT space, however 3-5 years later, i believe real estate, car industry all forms of documentation, receipts, and other aspects of bureaucracy that requires a more credible “proof of ownership” model will turn into NFTs because it will make all of this universal.

Anything else you’d like the people to know about you?!
I have been super blessed and privileged to be successful in the NFT space, in just a matter of a year, something I could have not imagined doing in a 100 years, even with the work i did for a living which was being a fashion photographer.
However I did not come into this space, with a lot of investment. I had a very tiny amount that I pulled from my savings, the rest that I invested back in was what I made from selling my art as NFTs, and if I can do that so can anyone else.
Web3 has so many opportunities everyday that could change your life, all you have to do is show up, and be part of the ecosystem from free airdrops that could be swapped for Eth to buying the right projects its all about being here every single day.
