What originally brought you into the NFT space?
When we moved houses and had some money to spare, I started trading cryptocurrencies and this worked as a gateway stimulus so to say.

What month and year did you get involved in NFTs?
I started actively trading NFT’s in September 2021.

How did you come up with the idea for your NFT project?
I’m not the founder of the NFT project, but I know GodJira_Gangz (One of the 2 founders) is a big Gozilla fan and wanted to have a zilla-themed pixelated project, hence GodJira. The letter d in GodJira and the Project part were added to avoid any copyright infringements.

What makes your NFT project unique?
We are a true DAO in the purest form, in the sense that 100% of all proceeds go to our treasury. We have a council consisting of 15 people deciding on the strategic way forward for our project and all genesis holders can vote on proposals put forward by the GodJira council.

How big is the team and what are their roles?
We have a team of 7 people, and they have similar roles one would see in a corporate environment. So we have a CEO, CTO, CFO, COO etc… But to see it in the light of a NFT project, we have someone running the daily operation in discord, we have someone spearheading the marketing side of our project, someone in charge of infrastructure etc…

Are there any mechanics or utility we should know about?
The main thing about GodJira is that we are a well organized group of investors, and we do not seek to give value to our community through standard tokenomics. At this point we provide value mainly through giving our community large amounts of allow list spots, but in the future our project will do active trading, act as a shark tank and will serve as a launchpad for other projects.
Besides that we are open to any form of innovation that can bring true value to our community.

Where do you see NFTs in the next 3-5 years?
It is my firm belief that NFT’s, accompanied by blockchain technology, are going to completely take over the world the way the internet has done for the last couple of decades. This means that the DAO structure we see in different L1 Blockchains and in the NFT space is going to replace traditional companies. I think it is a logical conclusion, as it is much more effective and rewarding to have businesses organize that way.

What would you tell a newbie before beginning to invest in the NFT market? What should they look for?
Look for a solid group of like-minded people. Don’t haste yourself and plan. Make a plan about how you intend to approach the market and stick to it. Don’t be greedy or selfish, and help others. Make connections and take profits along the way!

Is there another NFT project you admire that we should reach out to next?
Scholarz. This project aims to increase the knowledge about NFT’s in a fun/gamified way and has some of the most knowledgeable people in the space running the project.
