Your Name + Role – Foxx + Billy // MWC Media & Mods on Telegram
Project Name – The MoonWalkers Club
Project Summary – MoonWalkers Club is a fully minted collection of 7,777 Hand-Drawn NFTs by Cam Createz living on the BSC.
Cam has over 500k followers on TikTok. (https://tiktok.com/@cam.createz)
After the original Devs had to step away from the project, the community came together to take over the MWC going forward – working exclusively with the artist, building socials/a website and developing a new roadmap. One of the first accomplishments from the new roadmap is a multi-sig community DAO funded in part by NFT sales.
Gen 2 of The MoonWalkers Club is in development with Cam Createz.

What originally brought you into the NFT space?
We love art and wanted to be a part of its future. One of the biggest changes in how we transact art in the world today is through the NFT space, and the NFT world has barely just gotten started!

November 2020.

How did you come up with the idea for your NFT project?
After brainstorming various ideas with one of the top artists on social media @camcreatez, we set upon a vision of space and travel. Looking up at the stars has always been fascinating, and some of the greatest films of our childhoods were about space – it’s just a type of love you can’t escape. The idea was to make unique MoonWalkers NFTs with multiple features based on some people & characters we all know! We wanted sharp, clean, quality images with incredible detail, so we let Cam loose and he came back with the first MoonWalker – and our minds were blown!

What makes your NFT project unique?
We are community owned and report to ourselves and our fellow holders. Too many times we have seen projects with devs that aim to control everything and we didn’t want that level of manipulation. Devs don’t make the community, the community does! And we have one of the best out there.

How big is the team and what are their roles?
We have a team of 8 individuals working behind the scenes towards various aspects that make the project great, and every one of us are also Top invested holders of MoonWalkers that have volunteered to help this project on its mission to the moon. We say we have a team of 8, but really we are ultimately a team of over 500 holders that all help promote and bring this incredible BSC art to the NFT world.

Are there any mechanics or utility we should know about?
Last week we announced integration of our Gen 1 MoonWalkers into the LittleGhosts P2E Metaverse space launching very soon. We have a multi-sig wallet that 5 of our top holders need to sign off on for community fund decision-making, as we are building a legitimate DAO – where ownership of MoonWalker NFTs will give each holder a vote towards future developments in potential areas of staking, a token – and we’re exploring new ways to incorporate our art with other projects/utilities to bring them on board, as we make our way towards a near-term Gen 2 MWC project with Cam Createz hopefully on the ETH network.

Where do you see NFTs in the next 3-5 years?
We see NFTs becoming a thriving community space intertwined with the emerging metaverses and with other NFT projects – bridging across several different blockchain networks. Bringing in multiple revenue streams for its holders, NFT art will begin to speak for itself as holding value, and this will help keep growing the space for its current holders while bringing in many new investors.

What would you tell a newbie before beginning to invest in the NFT market? What should they look for?
Look at the art, the artist and the team behind the project – there are a lot of NFT projects to choose from and it can all start to become a blur. What makes a project unique is the art. But what makes it last is its community. Also, if you genuinely love the art you are in possession of, then you can never fail!

Is there another NFT project you admire that we should reach out to next?
The Bull Society is another one of our favorite projects in the BSC space – we really love their community vibe and their art work/roadmap is amazing.
